1 beautiful Buck CUSTOM 110 Folding Hunter knife customized by David Yellowhorse available.  This is the Yellowhorse ‘Wild West Series’ Kit Carson knife.  This knife would make a rare addition to any collection. 

The blade is signed ‘David Yellowhorse  Serial #337’.

The Buck 110 measures 4 7/8″ when closed.  The blade itself measures 3 3/4″.  The handle is made of black jet, turquoise, mother-of-pearl, and other fine materials.

1 Japanese World War 2 Naval Officer’s dress sword.  This fine Japanese Naval Officer’s dress sword would make an important addition to any collection.

The saya is leather with gold-gilted fittings.  The blade is nickel-plated. 

Note the Naval anchor stamp, and the manufacturer’s symbol on the guard.

1 rare fittings antique World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s gendai sword available.  This sword was made by the highly collected smith, 23rd Generation Kanefusa.  A WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.

All military fittings/koshirae are of superior quality.  The blade measures 25 7/16″ (64.6 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This fine sword has an early black-lacquered saya/scabbard. 

Note the rare, red-lacquered tsuka wrap.  The fuchi/saya lock was removed by the Japanese Army Officer who carried this sword. 

The nakago is signed 23rd Generation Kanefusa.  There are no stamps on this fine gendai sword.  Kanefusa is featured on page 39 of Slough’s book.  The ‘Japanese Sword Index’ website has more information on 23rd Generation Kanefusa.

1 antique Shimada/Soshu sue koto Japanese Samurai o-tanto sword available.  This is a rare, rare hitatsura full temper sword.  This rare Japanese Samurai sword would make an important addition to any collection.

As mentioned in the sub-heading, this sword is just back from being polished by Bob Benson.  This will be a fun sword for a collector!  There is no habaki or shirasaya.  The nakago is unsigned.  The buyer should bring this sword straight to the next shinsa.  When I sent this sword to Bob for polish, he tried to buy it from me before polish.  I took that as a good sign!

The blade measures 13 1/8″ (33.3 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This sword’s hitatsura/full temper is so very rare.  And, it’s already polished.! 

1 new in the box vintage Blackjack Combat Reinhardt design Kukri knife available.  This vintage Blackjack knife would make an important addition to any collection.
 
This kukri has a 13 3/8″ blade.  This knife measures 18 3/4″ overall. 

This knife was made in the Seki, Japan.

1 hard-to-find U.S. World War 2 combat knife available.  This knife is described by collectors as the ‘short combat knife with M6-type sheath’.  This ID’d knife would make an important addition to any military knife collection.

The knife offered here is a fine example of this combat model.  The handle and sheath have matching serial numbers ‘349’.  The wood handle is stamped on each side with this number.  In addition, the soldier marked his name on the pommel ‘JOSEPH HENNESSY’.  The blade has the usual mark ‘BCD’ engraved in electric pencil. 

This knife has a brass pommel and an iron guard.  One side of the blade is flat on these knives.  The other side has a raised middle ridge.  The short scabbard is made in the same style as the early M3 trench knife’s M6 scabbard.  The scabbard is stamped with the soldier’s name again, as well as his unit ‘JOSEPH JOHN HENNESSY   F. C. 1/C DIV F’ (Fire Controlman First Class in a ship’s Division F).

1 exceptional antique World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s sword by the 1 million yen-rated gendai smith, Kaneaki.  This fine WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.

The nakago/tang is signed ‘Kaneaki’.  There are no arsenal stamps on this traditionally-made sword.  Kaneaki was rated 2nd Seat at the 1941 Sword Exhibition.    

All military fittings are of excellent quality.  The blade measures 26 1/4″ (66.7 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The saya has a fine metal spatter-lacquered finish.  This sword has a fine pierced tsuba. 

1 new in the box Buck CUSTOM ‘Cabela’s 50 Year Anniversary’ knife available.  This Limited Edition Buck 110 lockback would make a rare addition to any collection.

The handles are smooth buffalo horn w/mosaic pins.  This Buck Custom has a chip flint blade.  This knife is one of just 150 made by Buck. 

This knife measures 4 15/16″ when closed.  The blade itself measures 3 3/4″.  This knife was made in the U.S.A. 

1 vintage U.S. WW2 Kinfolks V-44 survival knife available.  This V-44 combat knife would make an important addition to any collection. 

This V-44 was made by Kinfolks.  The blade is stamped ‘Kinfolks  INC.‘.  This knife measures 14 1/2″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 9/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and black composite handle.  This V44 has its original scabbard.

1 U.S. World War 2 Cattaraugus 225Q fighting knife from the Roger Ballard Collection available.  This premium knife comes with its original hand-drawn ID card that Roger Ballard made for this knife.  This U.S. combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This U.S. fighting knife is also ID’d on its sheath.  The sheath is marked ‘APRIL 21, 1945   PFC KENNETH R. SHARP   36951503‘. 

This knife measures 10 1/2″ overall.  The blade itself measures 6″.  The blade tang is stamped ‘Cattaraugus  225Q’.  The blade was extra thick for prying open shipping crates during the War.  The pommel on the 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife has a hammer head for pounding the crate lids back down again.

1 exceedingly rare World War 2 Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early War Robeson Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This Mark 2 variation has red and black spacers next to the guard and pommel.  The blade is blued.  Many collectors consider the Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 to be the most attractive Mark 2 of World War II.  

The blade on this desirable Mark 2 measures 7″.  The knife is marked ‘ROBESON SHUREDGE’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’. 

The sheath is decorated with pin-up art.  This Marine’s sweetheart was ‘Muriel Miller’.  Her name and the date ‘1943’ are marked into the back of the sheath.  And her pin-up image is drawn into the front of the sheath.  The back of the scabbard is also marked ‘PARRY ISLE’.  Parry Isle is mark of Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands. 

1 U.S. World War 2 sword blade fighting knife.  This desirable combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This WW2 theater fighting knife was made with the blade from a cut-down U.S. Civil War sword blade.  The blade is etched with caisson wheels, cannon, etc.  The major portion of the handle was made from downed enemy aircraft plexiglass. 

The blade measures 6 7/8″.  This knife measures 12 9/16″ overall.
