The blade-marked Aerial M3 is one of the more difficult M3’s to find.  The blade is marked ‘U.S. M3 AERIAL MARINETTE, WIS’.  

This knife has a MILSCO M6 sheath.  M3 and militaria collectors are always on the lookout for early M3’s paired with M6 1943 sheaths.

1 U.S. World War 2 Imperial 1943 blade-dated M3 fighting knife available.  This U.S. fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade-dated Imperial M3 is marked ‘U S  M3 IMPERIAL 1943’.   

This knife has a MILSCO M6 sheath.  The belt hanger portion of the sheath was cut off–U.S. Paratroopers did this for their jumps.  M3 and militaria collectors are always on the lookout for early M3’s paired with M6 1943 sheaths.

1 Anderson WW2 fighting knife.  This Anderson fighting knife would make a rare acquisition for any collection.  
 

Anderson made fighting knives for World War 2 using blades cut from Patton swords.  This knife was made with the base section of the Patton sword.  The front ricasso is stamped ‘S.A. 1914’ (the ‘S.’ is not visible).  The reverse side is stamped with the low serial #: ‘8034’.  There was no sheath with this knife when I got it.  
 

The handle is marked ‘ANDERSON  GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA’.  The reverse side is marked ‘MADE IN USA’.  

1 vintage U.S. World War 2 Case XX V44 fighting/survival knife.  This is a very fine example of this model of U.S. fighting knife.  

This knife measures 14 1/8″ overall.

1 mint U.S. World War 2 guard-marked Camillus M3 fighting knife in its original box.  This fine M3 would make a rare addition to any collection. 

1 U.S. World War 2 PAL RH-35 Mark 1 fighting knife.  This beautiful condition U.S. World War II Mark 1 combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This knife is marked on the blade ‘RH-35   PAL   MADE IN U.S.A.’.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.N.  MARK 1’.  The scabbard is stamped ‘U.S.N. MK. 1’.  This knife measures 10 1/8″ overall.  The blade itself measures 5 1/4″.

1 MINT in the box U.S. WW2 IMPERIAL blade-marked M3 trench fighting knife available.  This U.S. WW2 edged weapon would make an important addition to any collection.  

This M3 trench knife measures 11 3/4” overall.  The blade measures 6 13/16”.  

The U.S. M8 sheath has its leather leg tie-down thong intact still.  The pommel has the flaming bomb mark.  There are a few markings on the top of the box. 

1 antique Japanese katana available.  This old Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.    

This Japanese katana has an exceptional hamon–this sword could be something really good.  This sword is unsigned.  The next shinsa in the U.S. isn’t until April 2021.  As a dealer, its hard to hold on to too many swords in your inventory that long.  So this sword is offered for sale here.  St. Croix Blades recommends the buyer shinsa this sword–either in the U.S., or in Japan with the NBTHK. 
 
The blade measures 26 1/2″ (67.3 cm) from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.  The saya and tsuka wrap are new.  If not offering in shirasaya, Japanese dealers have mounts/koshirae made when a sword is missing koshirae before they are offered for sale.  The fuchi, kashira, saya drag, and habaki all have a matching motif.  

This sword is in fine polish.

1 exceptional condition U.S. WW2 MILSCO M6 sheath for the blade-dated M3 trench fighting knife available.  This U.S. WW2 M6 scabbard would make an important addition to any collection.  

This M6 trench knife sheath measures 15 1/4” overall.  The metal plate is ID’d with a name or place–seems like someone could make out what it says.  So far I see the last 5 letters spell ‘VILLE’.

1 difficult to find Japanese model 1883 Naval Kyu-Gunto Samurai Officer’s sword.  This rare Imperial Japanese Navy Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.  A sword in model 1883 Naval Kyu-Gunto sword mounts is rare.  An example in exceptional condition is extremely difficult to find. 

The Naval mounts on this sword are mint.  Of Kyu-Gunto mounted swords–just 1 in 40, or 1 in 50 is in Naval mounts–all others are Army.  A sword like this does not come on the market very often.

This sword has a Silver Samurai family mon on its backstrap.  The mon is from the Abe and Tomita Samurai clans.  This sword has an ancestral Samurai blade.  The blade dates to the 1500’s A.D.  The nakago/tang is unsigned.  The blade measures 24 7/16″ from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This sword has a desirable, wavy hamon.  This old blade has two holes in the nakago.  The sharkskin-covered saya is very fine.  All fittings are gilted in gold.
