Description
1 antique Meiji era Japanese ken sword available. This hard to find ken sword would make an important addition to any collection.
This mumei ken sword is housed in elaborate dragon motif koshirae. The dragon wraps around the saya. The tsuka has two Buddhist bonji–one on each side.
The blade has three bonji carved on one side, and two bonji on the other side. This is an aikuchi ken. The nakago has two mekugi-ana.
The blade nagasa measures 9 13/16″.
Condition:
This antique Japanese ken sword is in excellent condition. The koshirae is in beautiful condition. Hard to see if the hamon is all there.
