Description

1 WWII Melchior fighting knife available. This rare vet ID’d knife would make an important addition to any collection.

On the blade the vet engraved his name ‘J.G. Beening – USN’. Marked on the ricasso is ‘Herman’.

The guard was modified by the veteran–he ground one side of the guard as a can opener so he could use his knife to open canned rations.

This knife measures 11″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 1/8″.

CONDITION:

This knife is in excellent condition.
