1 difficult to find Japanese WW2 silk propaganda flag available.  This is a rare item.  This Japanese silk flag would make an important addition to any collection.

This G.I. bringback silk flag is printed with images of favorable newspaper headlines and articles.  The center of the flag features a Japanese zero fighter.  

The back of the flag has the name of the G.I. who brought it back home ‘R. Belfiglio Co. B.’.  

This flag measures 27″ X 29″.  

1 Japanese World War II Navy Officer’s kai gunto sword available.  This IJN Officer’s sword was made by (Ido) Hidetoshi.  This Japanese sword would make an important addition to any collection.

The oil-tempered blade measures 24 13/16″ (65.6 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. 

The tsuka has rayskin under the silk wrap.  This IJN kai-gunto sword has a black lacquer saya.   

Note the outer seppa is marked with the Naval anchor stamp, and ‘T.E.C.’ (likely a sword company).

This sword would make an important addition to any Premium collection as it is most likely the, or one of the, best condition examples of the Japanese Copper Handle NCO Sword in the world.  

The sword and scabbard/saya have the matching serial number ‘871’.  

ST. CROIX BLADES BUYS JAPANESE SWORDS

1 antique World War II Japanese samurai Army Officer’s sword available.  The blade is a fine gendai sword by Ishido Teruhide.  This very fine Japanese Army katana would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade measures 26 3/8″ (67.0 cm)–as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.  

Teruhide is featured in John Slough’s book An Oshigata Book of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths 1868-1945 on page 171.  See photo above.  

1 rare U.S. World War 2 Wilde Tool M1 Garand bayonet available.

This rare WW2 bayonet was carried by Sgt. Charles H. Schneck, serial # 33483599.  He scratched his name and last 4 numbers of his serial number into the back of the scabbard.  

The ricasso is marked ‘WT US 1943’.  The blade measures 10″.

1 U.S. Navy SEAL Team ‘Black Knife’ available.  This knife would make an important addition to any collection.  
 

This knife measures 5 1/2″ when closed.  The blade itself measures 4″.  

1 Japanese WW2 1000 stitch belt available.  The thousand stitch belt is called a senninbari.  

A senninbari was made of a lighter colored cloth–in this case silk–usually given by Japanese women to soldiers.  Senninbari had as many as 1000 red stitches–and usually each stitch was made by a different Japanese woman.  Senninbari were believed to protect the soldier wearing it from bullets.  

Thousand stitch belts could have either 1000 knots arranged in a grid, or could be formed into Japanese kanji–and most attractively, into the image of a tiger.  

This thousand stitch belt has the stitches formed in the image of a tiger.  Also present on this belt is an Army flag and a Navy flag.  There are also 4 Japanese kanji.  And last, 11 kanji are stamped in purple ink on the outer edge of this belt.

The tsuka has rayskin under the silk wrap.  This IJN kai-gunto sword has a black sharkskin (shagreen) saya.  
 

This sword is also dated–the date is January 1943.  

1 World War II 2nd pattern Wilkinson Officer model Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knife available.  This knife is nickel-plated.  This fighting knife would make a rare addition to any World War II, or world militaria collection.

The guard is marked with the number ‘5’ and ‘ENGLAND’.  The sheath is stamped with the England stamp as well.  

The blade measures 6 9/16″—it’s original factory length.

All military fittings are of excellent quality.  The saya has the collector-coveted sharkskin covering.  The blade measures 26 3/16″ (66.3 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The nakago/tang is signed Masayasu.  The back side of the nakago is not dated.  

This WW2 Navy Officer’s sword has gold-gilt fittings.  This sword has a fine water-tempered hamon/temper line.

1 desirable vintage Frank J. Richtig aluminum-handled skinning knife available.  This hard-to-find Frank Richtig knife would make an important addition to any collection, and would also make a fine using knife–a knife that few others in the country still use, because they have been snatched up by collectors.

This knife was made by a legend in knife-making.  Frank Richtig had a secret steel tempering process that allowed him to slice through railroad spikes and automobile leaf springs.  Frank would demonstrate this at county fairs–after slicing a railroad spike or leaf spring, he would slice through a piece of paper with the same knife.  Frank earned himself a spot in a ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ magazine in the 1930’s.  These knives can be used for decades, because of Frank’s superior craftsmanship. 

This knife has a blade that measures 6″.  The handle on this knife has the ‘F.J.R.  CLARKSON  NEB.’ stamp.  (Other stamps seen on knives made by Frank Richtig include the ‘HAND MADE BY   F. J. RICHTIG   CLARKSON, NEBR.’ stamp, and the blacksmith image stamp’).  This knife measures 10 3/4″ overall.
