This sword would make an important addition to any Premium collection as it is most likely the, or one of the, best condition examples of the Japanese Copper Handle NCO Sword in the world.

1 antique World War II Japanese samurai Army Officer’s sword available. The blade is a fine gendai sword by Ishido Teruhide. This very fine Japanese Army katana would make an important addition to any collection.
The blade measures 26 3/8″ (67.0 cm)–as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.
Teruhide is featured in John Slough’s book An Oshigata Book of Modern Japanese Swordsmiths 1868-1945 on page 171. See photo above.

1 vintage Australian-made U.S. World War 2 Army Rangers brass knucks knife. This is the larger of the two size of Ranger V44-type brass knuckle knives. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
This original, World War II Ranger knife has the visible file marks inside the handle important to identifying an authentic WW2 knife (see photos). This knife has a 9 1/4″ blade. Overall this knife measures 14 1/8″.
The leather scabbard is correct and original to the knife.

1 Japanese WW2 1000 stitch belt available. The thousand stitch belt is called a senninbari.
A senninbari was made of a lighter colored cloth–in this case silk–usually given by Japanese women to soldiers. Senninbari had as many as 1000 red stitches–and usually each stitch was made by a different Japanese woman. Senninbari were believed to protect the soldier wearing it from bullets.
Thousand stitch belts could have either 1000 knots arranged in a grid, or could be formed into Japanese kanji–and most attractively, into the image of a tiger.
This thousand stitch belt has the stitches formed in the image of a tiger. Also present on this belt is an Army flag and a Navy flag. There are also 4 Japanese kanji. And last, 11 kanji are stamped in purple ink on the outer edge of this belt.

This knife measures 11” overall. The blade measures 6”.
The knife handle was made in the European theater with aluminum from aircraft, colored spacers, and plexiglass from downed aircraft windshields.
The sheath is pretty cool. A pin-up girl is drawn into the front of the sheath. The G.I.’s initials ‘R.E.T.’ are also marked into the leather on the upper half of the sheath.

This knife was made by a legend in knife-making. Frank Richtig had a secret steel tempering process that allowed him to slice through railroad spikes and automobile leaf springs. Frank would demonstrate this at county fairs–after slicing a railroad spike or leaf spring, he would slice through a piece of paper with the same knife. Frank earned himself a spot in a ‘Ripley’s Believe It or Not’ magazine in the 1930’s. These knives can be used for decades, because of Frank’s superior craftsmanship.
This knife has a blade that measures 6″. The handle on this knife has the ‘F.J.R. CLARKSON NEB.’ stamp. (Other stamps seen on knives made by Frank Richtig include the ‘HAND MADE BY F. J. RICHTIG CLARKSON, NEBR.’ stamp, and the blacksmith image stamp’). This knife measures 10 3/4″ overall.

The nakago/tang is signed Masakiyo. This sword is a star-stamped gendai. Masakiyo was appointed the Head Swordsmith for the Izumo Seiko (Izumo Steel Works Company) in 1942. Masakiyo was a Rikugen Jumei Tosho smith.
The blade measures 25 7/8″ (65.8 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
This sword has a fine water-tempered hamon/temper line.
This WW2 katana has a Silver family mon on the kabutogane (see photos). These Silver mon designate which Samurai clan the officer was from. The mon is ‘crossed feathers’.

This hard to find double tang Boker M3 has a 6 3/4″ blade. The sheath is an L&C M6. The sheath is stamped at its throat ‘U.S.M6 L&C 1943 FJA’.
The front of the sheath is marked with the G.I.’s name ‘E.C. DAVIDSON’. In addition, he marked the back of the sheath with his serial # ‘D-6174’.
The blade measures 6 11/16″.
