The blade-dated M6 knife is stamped on the blade ‘U S M3 CAMILLUS 1943‘. This knife measures 11 5/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 6 3/4″. The pommel is double-pinned. The end of the pommel is stamped with a flaming bomb.
The M6 scabbard is stamped on its front ‘U.S. M6 MILSCO 1943‘. The front of the scabbard is also marked with the name of a vet.

This knife is ID’d, and researchable. Many collectors like to be able to research the history of the soldier that carried a knife. The long sheath is marked on its front with the soldier’s name and serial #. The soldier’s name looks to be ‘Van Kreisher’. His serial # looks like ‘3719791’, or ‘3719991’.

It doesn’t appear to just be from wear–it’s almost like Barteaux decided to remove the markings from his handle die, and only mostly removed the markings from it.
This knife measures 9 3/4″ overall. The knife blade itself measures 5 1/8″. The scabbard is a ‘U.S.N’-marked sheath from a 5″ Mark 1 fighting knife.

This sword’s nakago is stamped with a small flaming bomb. This sword has a fine polished temper line. The blade measures 25 1/4″ (64.1 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
This Naval sword has a wood surrender tag attached to it. Note that the cord that the surrender tag is attached to the saya with is a cut Naval dirk tassel.
All fittings have matching assembly numbers–the number stamped on each is ’80’.

This vet brought back two swords. Copies of each photo will be provided to the buyer of this sword. The vet’s son wouldn’t let go of the original photos and bringback paper.
All sittings, including the seppa and tsuba, have the matching assembly number ‘6’.
The blade measures 24 3/8″ (61.9 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.

1 rare vintage ID’d U.S. Vietnam War Gerber Mark II combat knife. This 1967 Gerber Mark II was ordered by U.S. Colonel George A. Browning III–a career Air Force pilot who served in 3 wars–World War II, the Korean War, and Vietnam. This knife would make an exceptionally rare addition to any collection.
Colonel Browning ordered this Mark II from Gerber while serving as a Staff Officer in Vietnam with the 7th Air Force. His original order form, and the original box are still with this knife–this is super rare.
The address on the box, ‘APO San Francisco, California’, shows that this knife was sent to Tan Son Nhut Air Force Base in Vietnam. Note the ‘AIR MAIL’ stamps on the outside of the box. The postmark on the box is ‘OCT 28 ’67‘. The photos show that this knife was received in Vietnam on ‘3-11’ (November 3rd).
This early Gerber Mark II has the 1967 serial # ‘004002‘. The typewritten slip from Gerber Legendary Bladeswith the paperwork notes: “We are continually improving the Mark II in order to make it the finest weapon of its type available. As a result of extensive field use in Vietnam, we are making the Mark II with the blade straight and without the 5 [degree] offset as in earlier models.“
As noted above, Colonel Browning’s original order form is also with this knife. He opted for the more expensive sheath option that had the piggyback sheath with the Sportsman’s Steel. Colonel Browning also paid to have his name and Serial No. engraved on the blade–‘GEORGE A. BROWNING III FR 33934‘.
Colonel Browning flew B-17’s in World War II. He was shot down, and served as a POW in Germany. After the War, he flew B-29’s and B-36’s.

The scabbard has a brass fittings. The brass hanger is stamped ‘WATERVLIET ARSENAL‘. The leather portion of the hanger is also partially stamped ‘_____VLIET __SENAL’. The soldier who carried this model 1880 scratched his name and Army Company on the back ‘J.H. MASON Co.F 21st’.

This impressive late 1800’s Arabian dagger measures 23 1/2″ when in its scabbard. The handle is highly decorated–the intricate metal is either all Silver or a thick Silver gilt, as no other metal shows through even in areas where rubbing or wear occurred. The blade has chiseled decoration. The scabbard has the belt still attached to it. The bottom portion of the scabbard is covered in decorated brass. The decorated top portion is again all Silver, or a thick Silver gilt.
