This fine sword has a complex hamon/temper line with lots of activity. The photos speak for themselves.
The blade measures 28 1/4″ (71.8 cm) from blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. The kissaki measures 4 1/8″ (10.5 cm). This o-kissaki katana is mounted in shira-saya.

This is the Custom Buck Mountain Man Bowie with the crown stag handle. This knife is engraved with serial number ‘0180’ on the blade (in small print under the Buck stamp).
This Bowie measures 13 3/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 7 1/4″. The blade stock measures just over 3/16″.

This huge oversize blade custom Buckmaster was made by Joe Houser, Buck Knives’ Manager of Consumer Relations, in the Buck Custom Shop. This awesome Custom Buckmaster knife would make a rare, and one of a kind, addition to any collection
This Buckmaster’s letter/Certificate of Authenticity bears the original signature of Chuck Buck, Chairman of Buck Knives. The Certificate also bears the original signature of Joe Houser, Manager of Customer Relations (and the custom maker of this knife).
This huge Buckmaster Hybrid measures 15″ overall. The blade itself measures 10″.
This knife comes with a mirrored display stand, and Certificate of Authenticity.
The Certificate of Authenticity reads:
“This letter is to affirm that this Buck knife was actually made at Buck Knife Factory in Post Falls, Idaho. It is a custom model 184 Buckmaster designed and made by Joe Houser in Buck’s Custom shop. The bead blast finished 425mod stainless steel blade is stamped BUCK, Custom, USA with BUCK in fancy script, and is approximately 10″ long. The knife has an overall length of about 15″ and is approximately 1-7/8” wide with 13 hand ground saw teeth along the backbone and serrations on the chamfer. It was designed to be a scaled up version of the production 184 and has been fitted with an original handle, pommel, lanyard ring, guard and anchor pins with a bead blast finish.

This fine sword has a complex Yoshii School hamon/temper line with lots of activity. This sword is unsigned. The work is attributed to Bizen swordsmith Kiyonori.
The blade measures 25 9/16″ (64.9 cm) from blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki. This Samurai katana is mounted in shira-saya. The habaki has a gold wash.
This sword was carried by true Samurai.

The backstrap on this sword, with its three cherry blossoms, identify it as a police Lieutenant level dress sword. The tsuka/handle is made of polished sharkskin. This is a premium feature.
A police sword is a shorter sword, as is this one. There is no yakiba (acid-etched temper line) on this type of sword. This sword measures 29 3/16″ when it is in its scabbard. The blade itself measures 22 5/8″.

This Case V-42 has the long scabbard. The blade on this knife measures 7 3/8″–its full original length.
This knife was used by the First Special Service Force. Frank Trzaska notes in his article “The Case V-42 Stiletto” which appeared in the April 1998 edition of KnifeWorld, that “The U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets) use the V-42 in their Distinctive Insignia, their Unit Crest and in their shoulder patch.” The Case V-42 is a coveted and classic U.S. fighting knife.

This tanto is unsigned. It has a true hamon/temper line–it is either water or oil-tempered. A hada/grain is visible in the blade. This stainless steel tanto was possibly, or perhaps likely, made at the Tenshozan Naval Forge.
The blade measures 7 7/8″ (20 cm) from blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki.
The blade has two bohi grooves.
