1 Japanese World War 2 Naval Officer’s dress sword.  This sword has several premium features–it has the higher class sharkskin saya/scabbard, and a wavy acid-etched yakiba (temper line) with turnback.  This sword would make an important addition to any collection

This fine Naval Officer’s sword has a perfect acid-etched yakiba.

CONDITION:

This WW2 Japanese Naval Officer’s dress sword is in exceptional condition.  The blade is nearly perfect with 99.8% plating, and a perfect yakiba.  The wire on the handle is perfect.  The sharkskin on the saya is nearly perfect as well.  The blade slides into and out of the saya perfectly, and locks in place.  There are a couple of small cosmetic scratches on the locking mechanism.
