Description

Fine matching antique daisho set of Japanese Samurai sword menuki. This rare set would make an important addition to any collection, and would be important when completing a daisho sword set.

These Edo Period menuki depict Samurai sode (shoulder guard) armor. These menuki are made in shakudo and gold.

The larger katana set each measure 1 5/8″ in length by just over 9/16″. The wakizashi set each measure 1 5/16″ by 9/16″.

This daisho set of menuki is in exceptional condition.
