  • brass sword hammer — this hammer is used to remove the bamboo handle peg
  • uchiko ball — used for cleaning a Japanese sword.  this ball contains stone powder from the last polish of a Japanese sword.
  • Japanese rice paper for wiping uchiko powder from the blade.
  • choji oil (Japanese clove oil)
  • fabric pad for applying choji oil to the blade.  comes in a plastic box to keep oil-saturated pad from getting on the other items in the sword care kit.
