1 vintage pre-WW2 thru WW2 Japanese katana sword available.  This katana has a dragon horimono/carving on the blade.  This gendai katana would make a fine addition to any collection.

This gendai sword is unsigned.  There is no arsenal stamp on this sword.  This katana measures 26 1/8″ (66.4 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine).

This gendai katana has a straight hamon with the design of Mt. Fuji incorporated into the hamon about 8″ back from the blade tip.  The old Samurai saya/scabbard is wooden with gold and black lacquer.

The front side of the blade has horimono/carving of a dragon chasing the sacred ball or flaming/magical pearl.  The reverse side of the blade has a sanskrit character. 

1 exceptional antique World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s sword by the 1 million yen-rated gendai smith, Kaneaki.  This fine WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.

The nakago/tang is signed ‘Kaneaki’.  There are no arsenal stamps on this traditionally-made sword.  Kaneaki was rated 2nd Seat at the 1941 Sword Exhibition.    

All military fittings are of excellent quality.  The blade measures 26 1/4″ (66.7 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The saya has a fine metal spatter-lacquered finish.  This sword has a fine pierced tsuba. 

1 antique 1800’s A.D. German hunting sword available.  This early 19th century hunting sword would make a fine addition to any antique collection.

This 19th century German hunting sword/knife is of exceptional quality.  The grip is of carved ebony wood.  The clamshell, crossguard, and pommel are decorated with cherubs.  Some very fine carving is showcased on this sword.  See the detail displayed in photo 9. 

This sword measures 27 1/2″ long.  There is no scabbard with this hunting sword.  The double-fullered blade itself measures 22″ long. 

1 vintage U.S. WW2 Kinfolks V-44 survival knife available.  This V-44 combat knife would make an important addition to any collection. 

This V-44 was made by Kinfolks.  The blade is stamped ‘Kinfolks  INC.‘.  This knife measures 14 1/2″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 9/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and black composite handle.  This V44 has its original scabbard.

1 early blued blade U.S.M.C. World War 2 Kabar Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early version WW2 Kabar Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This early War variation Kabar has a thin, peened pommel.  This variation also has a thick red spacer, and thin black spacer, next to the guard. 

The blade on this desirable Kabar measures 7″.  The knife is marked ‘KA-BAR   OLEAN, N.Y.’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’.

1 exceedingly rare World War 2 Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early War Robeson Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This Mark 2 variation has red and black spacers next to the guard and pommel.  The blade is blued.  Many collectors consider the Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 to be the most attractive Mark 2 of World War II.  

The blade on this desirable Mark 2 measures 7″.  The knife is marked ‘ROBESON SHUREDGE’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’. 

The sheath is decorated with pin-up art.  This Marine’s sweetheart was ‘Muriel Miller’.  Her name and the date ‘1943’ are marked into the back of the sheath.  And her pin-up image is drawn into the front of the sheath.  The back of the scabbard is also marked ‘PARRY ISLE’.  Parry Isle is mark of Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands.

1 early blade-marked U.S.M.C. World War 2 Kabar Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early version WW2 Kabar Mark 2 combat knife, with its incredible Sailor’s Knot-covered handle and wrist thong, would make a rare addition to any collection.

This early War variation Kabar has a blued blade.  The blade on this desirable Kabar measures 7 1/8″.  The knife is marked ‘KA-BAR   OLEAN, N.Y.’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’. 

The sailor’s knot handle and wrist thong are beautifully complex.  The sheath is marked on its front ‘CCC   USN‘. 

1 vintage U.S. World War II premium theater/home front fighting knife available.  This theater-made combat knife is well-made–this is an awesome fighting knife.  Collectors that prefer theater knives will love this one. 

Theater knives are fighting knives made by soldiers or craftsman here at home for soldiers.  Knives made by soldiers were often made with materials that were readily available to them–like plexiglass spacers made from downed enemy aircraft windshields, aluminum, brass, leather, and blades or handles from Issued or captured fighting knives.

This handsome combat knife measures 10 5/16″ overall.  The blade itself measures 5 13/16″.
