1 vintage WW2 V-44 USMC fighting knife available.  This green horn handle V-44 is in excellent condition.  This World War II V-44 would make an important addition to any collection. 

This V-44 was made by Collins.  The blade is stamped ‘COLLINS & CO.   LEGITIMUS   MADE IN U.S.A.   No. 18’.  This knife measures 14 1/8″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 7/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and green horn handle.  The Collins scabbard is stamped ‘COLLINS & Co.   LEGITIMUS   13’.

The green horn on this knife is super unique.  The craftsman at Collins who paired up the horn handle scales on this knife made a beautiful choice–note the dark green paired with the light green. 

1 antique 17th/18th century nihonto/traditionally-made Japanese Samurai sword available.  This katana would make an important addition to any collection.

This 17th/18th century Samurai katana has a number of excellent fittings.  The mixed metal and iron tsuba is signed.  The fuchi (fitting below the tsuba/guard) is signed as well.  The kashira (pommel fitting) and fuchi are matching.  Their matching motif is a dragon.  The habaki is 24kt gold foil.  The two seppa/spacers are 24kt gold foil as well.  The handsome saya/scabbard is covered in fine same/rayskin. 

The blade measures 26 3/4″ (67.9 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. 

This sword was carried by true Samurai.

1 rare, uncarried condition World War II 2nd pattern Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife available.  This 2nd pattern knife has a rare variation scabbard.  This 2nd pattern British F/S fighting knife, with its rare variation sheath, would make an important addition to any collection.

This F-S fighting knife measures 11 7/8″ overall. The blade itself measures 7″. The guard is marked ‘ENGLAND’, and ‘B2’.  The broad arrow mark is also stamped on the guard. 

1 rare U.S. WW2 fighting knife that is missing from almost every military knife collection–because they are almost impossible to find.  This exceedingly rare Ruana fighting knife would make a holy grail addition to any military or Ruana knife collection.

This WW2 Ruana fighter has square cut handle scales–dating this knife to 1938-1943.  But is dated more specifically to 1941-1943 by the sheath–this style of sheath with the buckle keeper strap was only made by Rudy for his fighting knives.  This knife is also pre-stamp.  

The blade on this Ruana measures 5 7/8″ long.  This knife measures 10 1/2″ overall.

This V-44 was made by CASE.  This knife measures 14 1/4″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 7/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and black composite handle.

The scabbard itself is awesome trench art.  The scabbard is marked on its front ‘J.D. MARSHALL   Cairo Egypt’.  Note the shape of the scabbard–this is one of a kind.

The guard is solid nickel-silver.  The handle is yellow micarta.  The blade measures 7″.  This knife measures 12 1/16″ overall.    

1 WW2 Imperial Japanese Navy folding rope knife.  This rare Japanese knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade on this decorated with bamboo designs.  The blade has Japanese kanji on it as well.  This knife measures 4 9/16″ when closed.  The blade itself measures 3 1/4″. 

The U.S. soldier who brought this knife back engraved his initials ‘G.B.’ on the back of the blade in small letters.

1 vintage Koa Isshin Mantetsu WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s sword available.  This Japanese Mantetsu sword would make an important addition to any collection.

This sword is signed ‘KOA ISSHIN  MANTETSU SAKU’–meaning ‘Develop Asia by One Mind   Mantetsu respectfully made this’.  The reverse side of the nakago is dated.  The spine of the nakago is also marked.  This fine sword measures 26 5/16″ (66.8 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine). 

The fittings on this sword have a wonderful, reddish patina.

1 antique Japanese Samurai wakizashi sword with hard-to-find folded-over signature available.  This desirable sword would make an important addition to any collection.

The tang/nakago on this tanto has a rare folded-over signature.  It’s a folded-over inlay–which is a much more difficult signature inlay.  Very hard to find.  This sword is signed ‘Nagamitsu‘.  A board member of the U.S. branch of the NBTHK said this should be Mino Akasaka Senjuen Nagamitsu.

The blade measures 14 5/16″ (36.4 cm) from blade tip to the habaki.  This sword has an early sugata/shape. 

This sword has a Silver and Gold gilt habaki (Gold at the munemachi and hamachi).  The koshirae are fine black lacquer over wood.  The Silver menuki are Samurai clan mon.

1 exceptional antique Japanese Samurai tanto sword available.  This desirable Japanese antique would make an important addition to any collection.

This tanto has undeniably exceptional mounts.  The saya/scabbard is made up completely of Silver.  The ribbed portion of the saya is made of interlocking bands of solid Silver–each perfectly made.  The 3 1/2″ throat fitting is solid Silver.  The kurikata is solid Silver. 

The tang/nakago on this tanto is signed Kagefuyu.  The tsuba is also signed–Nobuiye. 

The blade measures 9 3/4″ (24.8 cm) from blade tip to the habaki. 

The matching fuchi/kashira are exceptional.  The uniformity of the hand-formed nanako is extraordinary.   Those that have an appreciation for all of the Japanese arts will note that the handle wrapping is quite special as well.  It appears as though the wrapping is patterned silk adhered to leather.  This sword has a gold gilt habaki.
