This V-44 was made by Kinfolks.  The blade is stamped ‘Kinfolks  INC.‘.  This knife measures 14 1/2″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 9/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and black composite handle.  This V44 has its original scabbard.

1 U.S. World War 2 Cattaraugus 225Q fighting knife from the Roger Ballard Collection available.  This premium knife comes with its original hand-drawn ID card that Roger Ballard made for this knife.  This U.S. combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This U.S. fighting knife is also ID’d on its sheath.  The sheath is marked ‘APRIL 21, 1945   PFC KENNETH R. SHARP   36951503‘. 

This knife measures 10 1/2″ overall.  The blade itself measures 6″.  The blade tang is stamped ‘Cattaraugus  225Q’.  The blade was extra thick for prying open shipping crates during the War.  The pommel on the 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife has a hammer head for pounding the crate lids back down again.

1 exceedingly rare World War 2 Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early War Robeson Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This Mark 2 variation has red and black spacers next to the guard and pommel.  The blade is blued.  Many collectors consider the Robeson U.S.M.C. Mark 2 to be the most attractive Mark 2 of World War II.  

The blade on this desirable Mark 2 measures 7″.  The knife is marked ‘ROBESON SHUREDGE’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’. 

The sheath is decorated with pin-up art.  This Marine’s sweetheart was ‘Muriel Miller’.  Her name and the date ‘1943’ are marked into the back of the sheath.  And her pin-up image is drawn into the front of the sheath.  The back of the scabbard is also marked ‘PARRY ISLE’.  Parry Isle is mark of Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands. 

1 U.S. World War 2 sword blade fighting knife.  This desirable combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This WW2 theater fighting knife was made with the blade from a cut-down U.S. Civil War sword blade.  The blade is etched with caisson wheels, cannon, etc.  The major portion of the handle was made from downed enemy aircraft plexiglass. 

The blade measures 6 7/8″.  This knife measures 12 9/16″ overall.

Theater knives are fighting knives made by soldiers or craftsman here at home for soldiers.  Knives made by soldiers were often made with materials that were readily available to them–like plexiglass spacers made from downed enemy aircraft windshields, aluminum, brass, leather, and blades or handles from Issued or captured fighting knives.

This handsome combat knife measures 10 5/16″ overall.  The blade itself measures 5 13/16″. 

The quality of this theater knife is a cut above the rest.

1 excellent antique World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s katana sword with blade groove.  This fine WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s katana would make an important addition to any collection.

The nakago/tang is signed.  The smith is Kanemasa.  There is an arsenal stamp on the nakago above the signature.  This sword has a complex, wavy hamon/temper line.  The kashira is fitted with a fine, cherry-blossum sarute.  

The military fittings are of excellent quality.  The blade measures a long 27 3/8″ (69.5 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The military saya is desirable as it is made of wood, which is light to carry–a much less common Army saya material, making it desirable for collectors. 

As mentioned earlier, this sword has a bohi/blade groove.  Katanas with a blade groove are sought after for cutting–this sword is of special interest to collectors and practitioners, because its blade groove is combined with a long blade at 27 3/8″. 

1 new in the box Buck CUSTOM model 976 Heritage File Dagger.  This fine collector Buck knife is engraved with the serial #:  ‘088/250’.  This stiletto knife would make an important addition to any collection.  

The handle is made of fine twisted buffalo horn and turquoise.  This knife has a 6 5/8″ blade.  This knife measures 11 1/8″ overall.  This knife was made in the U.S.A.

This sword has the general grade backstrap, and the general grade handle.  This sword measures 35″ when in its scabbard.  This sword has a complete acid-etched wavy yakiba/hamon. 

1 very fine nihonto/traditionally-made World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s sword available.  This gendai sword was made by Ota Chikahide in 1939.  This fine katana would make an important addition to any collection.

This fine gendai sword was hand-made by Ota Chikahide using tamahagane.  The front of the nakago bears his long signature.  The reverse side of the nakago is dated 1939.

All military fittings are of excellent quality.  The blade measures 25 9/16″ (64.9 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  The metal Army saya has a leather combat cover.  This sword has a fine clasped hands sarute. 

This sword has an attractive wavy temper line.
