Description

1 WWII Japanese NCO sword available. This wood handle NCO sword would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade measures 26 7/16″ from tip to the habaki (habaki edge that touches the mune–back of the blade). This sword has a blackened tsuba.

There is an arsenal stamp next to the sword’s serial #. The sword serial number is 207731. The saya/scabbard serial number is 205802 (non-matching).

CONDITION:

This vintage WWII Japanese NCO sword is in excellent condition. The mounts are just beautiful. There is just one minor nick in the blade edge. This sword saw some cutting–the blade has a noticeable bend to it when sighting down the blade. It’s minor enough that we hadn’t noticed it when we bought it. There is occasional carbon staining on the blade. The wood handle is in excellent condition.

All of the fittings are nice and tight on this sword. The sword locks perfectly in the scabbard.
