Description

One rare U.S. WWII Kennedy Fighting Knife is available. We have listed several variations of Kennedy Arms fighting knives, and this example represents yet another distinctive version. As a result, a Kennedy Arms knife makes an exceptionally rare addition to any premium collection.

The blade on this fine combat knife measures 7 5/8″ long, while the knife measures 12 1/8″ overall. In addition, the handle bears a clear stamp reading “KENNEDY ARMS – ST. PAUL.” Furthermore, the original sheath features a stamp that reads “KENNEDY BROS. ARMS CO. – ST. PAUL.”

Moore manufactured these knives for Kennedy Bros. Arms. Notably, I spoke with Moore’s son some time ago, and he shared an interesting firsthand account. According to him, when he was a boy, his father would give him completed knives to deliver from Moore’s shop in Minneapolis to Kennedy Arms in St. Paul. He would transport them by streetcar, adding a compelling personal connection to this knife’s history.
