1 antique World War II Japanese Samurai army officer's Muratato shin-gunto sword available. This sword would make an important addition to any collection.
Murata Tsuneyoshi developed the "new Japanese-European combined sword system".
All military fittings are of excellent quality. The blade measures 25 3/4" from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. This fine sword has deep red patina'd fittings.
This Muratato has a pierced tsuba.
The mounts are in exceptional nice condition. This is a handsome sword. The blade has occasional minor scratches. There are no nicks of any mentionable size. The locking mechanism functions perfectly, and the blade is perfectly straight.
A Murata-to sword can be hard to find.
