1 vintage U.S. WW2 Case XX 337-6″ Q fighting knife available. This knife would make an important addition to any knife or world militaria collection.
This knife measures 10 9/16″ overall. The blade itself measures 5 13/16″. The front tang is stamped ‘ CASE XX ‘. The reverse tang is stamped ‘ 337-6″ Q ‘.
The 337-Q blade was designed extra thick for prying open shipping crates during the War. The pommel on the 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife has a hammer head for pounding the crate lids back down again.
The soldier that carried this knife marked his name on the back of the sheath ‘Ray’.
CONDITION:
This U.S. World War 2 Case 337-Q knife is in excellent condition. The blade edge has no nicks, and no rust. The guard and pommel are nice and tight. The sheath is in good condition. The keeper strap and snap function perfectly.
