1 authentic antique Union US Civil War sword available. This model 1860 Light Cavalry sword is a wartime sword. This U.S. Cavalry sword would make an important addition to any office, den, or business; and would make a fine addition to any collection.
This U.S. Cavalry sword was made by Clemen & Jung (C&J). The blade ricasso is stamped with the maker’s name ‘C&J’. This Union sword has a leather-covered wood handle. The leather is wrapped with braided brass wire. The sword blade measures 35″ long.
The scabbard has the braising line running all the way up the side.
CONDITION:
This vintage US Civil War sword is in very nice condition. Everything is nice and tight on this sword. The brass guard has a nice patina. The blade has carbon staining, with some pitting towards the point. The leather on the grip has some flaked off.
The scabbard is in excellent condition.
