An exceptional Japanese WWII Naval Battle Group flag available. This huge Imperial Japanese Navy Rising Sun ship’s flag would make a rare addition to any collection.
This very large flag measures 12 1/2′ x 8′. It is made of heavy cotton. Each panel is a separate piece that are hand-sewn together.
This flag is so large that it was difficult to find a space large enough to hang and photograph it. The main photo provided is this flag unfurled by two friends at a show.
A large Naval battle group flag of this size, and condition, is very difficult to find. This is a rare opportunity for a collector or dealer.
CONDITION:
This original Japanese World War 2 Naval battle group flag is in exceptional condition. It was stored carefully since the War. There are no stains. There are a very few, very small holes–you won’t even notice them. In fact, we didn’t notice any until just today while photographing. This is the best condition Naval rising sun battle group flag we have owned!
