This important Japanese Imperial Household dirk would have been carried by a member of the Emperor’s Household staff. It comes boxed with a silk liner.
All fittings are of exceptional quality. This fine dirk has a sharkskin saya. The blade has a polished hamon. The blade measures 9 1/8″ (23.2 cm).

This rare Japanese Imperial Household dirk displays beautifully. All fittings are in unquestionably perfect condition. The blade is perfect. The tsuka/handle has all 3 wires in perfect condition. The lock mechanism functions perfectly.
