Description

1 hard to find WWII PAL USMC red spacer Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early War PAL USMC Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This Mark 2 variation has a thick red spacer next to the guard.  The blade is parkerized.

The blade on this desirable Mark 2 measures 6 7/8″.  The knife is marked ‘PAL’ on the front tang. The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.M.C.’.

The back of the sheath has stenciled initials of the vet who carried this knife.

 

CONDITION:

This knife is in excellent condition.  The blade was kept sharp using a stone during the War.  The blade is excellent.  The handle is in excellent condition as well.  The keeper strap is broken.
