The blade measures 25 1/4" (64.1 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. The blade on this sword has a handsome bohi blade groove. The hamon is complex. This sword is signed 'Kaneuji'. There is a Seki stamp above the signature.
Another desirable characteristic of this sword is the Silver Samurai family mon over both menuki. There is also a fine Company Grade (Lieutenant) Officer's tassel on this sword.
