1 Japanese WW2 Koa Isshin Mantetsu sword available.  This fine antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection.    
 

This Mantetsu has the hard to fine premium mounts variation.  The habaki is deep red in color and is finely.  grooved.  The rest of the fittings have the deep red color associated only with this variation of Mantetsu.  

The blade measures 26 1/4" from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  This sword is dated ‘Spring 1943’.  The nakago/tang spine has the Japanese kanji for the number 7 stamped on it.  

This sword is in exceptional condition.  There are no nicks in the blade edge.  The blade is in fine polish.
