1 several centuries old Japanese Samurai kabuto available.  This 8-plate Samurai warrior helmet would make an important addition to any Japanese or Asian antiquities collection. 

This helmet, as mentioned, is made with 8 iron plates--riveted together.  The hand-stitched cloth liner is still partially in place.  The inner part of the visor is covered in old red lacquer.  The helmet rim running from the sides of the kabuto to the back is covered in black lacquer. 

This antique Japanese Samurai kabuto helmet is in excellent condition.  The photos should show the condition well.  There is nothing loose on this helmet--all plates are tightly riveted.  There were 4 one-quarter inch iron points around the outside of the helmet--one is missing, the other three are present.
