1 rare U.S. WW2 fighting knife that is missing from almost every military knife collection–because they are almost impossible to find.  This exceedingly rare Ruana fighting knife would make a holy grail addition to any military or Ruana knife collection.

This WW2 Ruana fighter has square cut handle scales–dating this knife to 1938-1943.  But is dated more specifically to 1941-1943 by the sheath–this style of sheath with the buckle keeper strap was only made by Rudy for his fighting knives.  This knife is also pre-stamp.  

The blade on this Ruana measures 5 7/8″ long.  This knife measures 10 1/2″ overall.  

1 U.S. WW2 PAL M4 fighting knife–still unopened in its original box.  This unissued, still sealed PAL M4 in its original box would make an exceedingly rare addition to any collection. 

1 Steve Voorhis custom Subhilt Fighter.  This elegant slender/narrow variation fighter by Steve Voorhis would make an important addition to any collection. 

The guard is solid nickel-silver.  The handle is yellow micarta.  The blade measures 7″.  This knife measures 12 1/16″ overall.

1 vintage WW2 Japanese Imperial Navy Officer’s katana.  This WW2 Naval Officer’s sword would make a fine addition to any collection.

This sword is signed and dated.  The swordsmith is Kanemasa.  The blade measures 25 15/16″ (65.9 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine).   

This Navy katana has a wavy hamon/temper line.  The saya is black lacquer over wood.  All fittings have matching assembly numbers.  The seppa, tsuba, fuchi, etc. are all stamped ’98’. 

1 vintage Al Mar Eagle Talon folder available.  This Al Mar knife would make a fine addition to any collection.  

There are two sheaths with this knife–a camouflage sheath, and a leather sheath.  The blade measures 4″.  This knife measures 5″ when closed. 

This knife was made in Seki, Japan.

1 vintage Koa Isshin Mantetsu WW2 Japanese Army Officer’s sword available.  This Japanese Mantetsu sword would make an important addition to any collection.

This sword is signed ‘KOA ISSHIN  MANTETSU SAKU’–meaning ‘Develop Asia by One Mind   Mantetsu respectfully made this’.  The reverse side of the nakago is dated.  The spine of the nakago is also marked.  This fine sword measures 26 5/16″ (66.8 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine). 

The fittings on this sword have a wonderful, reddish patina.

1 vintage WW2 Japanese Officer’s katana in shirasaya.  This WW2 Officer’s sword would make a fine addition to any collection.

This sword is signed.  The swordsmith is Michihiro.  There is a showa stamp above the signature.  The blade measures 26 7/16″ (67.2 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine).  This katana has a wavy hamon/temper line. 

1 exceptional antique Japanese Samurai tanto sword available.  This desirable Japanese antique would make an important addition to any collection.

This tanto has undeniably exceptional mounts.  The saya/scabbard is made up completely of Silver.  The ribbed portion of the saya is made of interlocking bands of solid Silver–each perfectly made.  The 3 1/2″ throat fitting is solid Silver.  The kurikata is solid Silver. 

The tang/nakago on this tanto is signed Kagefuyu.  The tsuba is also signed–Nobuiye. 

The blade measures 9 3/4″ (24.8 cm) from blade tip to the habaki. 

The matching fuchi/kashira are exceptional.  The uniformity of the hand-formed nanako is extraordinary.   Those that have an appreciation for all of the Japanese arts will note that the handle wrapping is quite special as well.  It appears as though the wrapping is patterned silk adhered to leather.  This sword has a gold gilt habaki.

1 rare World War II Japanese Samurai Police Inspector Dirk available.  This difficult-to-find Japanese dirk would make an important addition to any collection.

This desirable Japanese Police Inspector Dirk has a police badge variation that is not often seen. 

This dagger is quite large.  The blade measures 11 3/8″ (28.9 cm).  This dagger measures 16 3/16″ overall.

1 antique old Japanese Samurai sword available.  This 17th century Japanese wakizashi would make an important addition to any collection.

This Samurai sword dates to approximately the 17th century.  There are 3 holes in the tang.  The nakago is unsigned.  The handsome saya/scabbard is quite unusual.  It has fish scales imbedded in the lacquer.  This saya is very fine. 

The fuchi and kashira are matching (see photos below).  The tsuba is signed ‘Kunihiro’. 

The blade measures 17 13/16″ (45.2 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.
