1 first year production U.S. M1905 Springfield Arms bayonet.  This early U.S. bayonet would make an important addition to any collection.

This M1905 bayonet was made in 1906–this was the first year of Springfield Arm’s production of the model 1905 bayonet.  The M1905 bayonet fits the M1903 Springfield rifle, and the M1 Garand.  

The front ricasso is stamped ‘US  84414’.  The reverse ricasso is stamped ‘S A   1906’.  As detailed in M.H. Cole’s book,The Best of U.S. Military Knives Bayonets & Machetes, the early production dates from 1906-1917 had a bright polished blade, with the hilt and guard and about 3/16″ of the blade blued.  

The blade measures 16″.  This bayonet measures 20 5/8″ overall.  This bayonet has the correct M1905 type no. 2 scabbard of leather with a long metal throat.  The leather is stamped on the back ‘R.I.A.  1910  H.E.K.’.

1 rare condition guard-marked CASE World War II M3 trench knife w/M8 scabbard available.  This U.S. M3 fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The M3 trench knife is guard-marked ‘U.S.M.3  CASE’.  The M8 scabbard is stamped ‘U.S. M8  B.M.CO.’.  The scabbard has a very collectible, great combat knot leg tie-down.  

The knife’s blade measures 6 5/8″.  This knife measures 11 1/2″ overall.  The pommel has the flaming bomb stamp.  

This knife has 6 handle grooves.  

1 antique U.S. Navy World War II Mark V hardhat dive knife available.  This knife was made by Morse Diving Equipment.  A U.S. WW2 Mark V dive knife would make a rare addition to any premium collection. 

The heavy brass scabbard is marked ‘MFG’D. BY MORSE DIVING EQUIP. CO. INC.   BOSTON, MASS. U.S.A.’.  

The blade measures 6 3/4″.  This knife measures 12 3/4″ overall. 

1 World War II third pattern Fairbairn-Sykes commando fighting knife available.  This fighting knife would make an important addition to any World War II, or world militaria collection.

The guard is stamped ‘I’ and ‘ENGLAND’.  The British broad arrow is also lightly stamped on the guard.  So this knife was made for the India theater. 

This is an early version third pattern knife–the ‘V’ on the blade ricasso shows this knife was hand-ground.  

The blade measures 6 7/8″.  This knife measures 11 7/8″ overall.  The top of the scabbard is stamped ‘ENGLAND’.  

The actual US Mountain and Ski Troops knife photographed in Mike Silvey’s book Pocket Knives of the United States Military.  This documented Ulster WW2 ski troops knife would make an important addition to any advanced collection.

This is an early variation of the 10 Mountain Div. knife, and is difficult to find.  This early variation had the philips screwdriver (for ski bindings) located on the bail.  

The knife’s master blade measures 2 1/2″.  This knife measures 3 7/16″ overall when closed. 

1 World War 2 Ka-bar Mark 2 fighting knife.  This WW2 Kabar Mark 2 combat knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This knife is ID’d on the sheath, and is marked for the Okinawa theater.  The soldier marked his knife’s sheath ‘James E. Mason  P.O. 3/c   Okinawa’.  

This Kabar has the thick pommel.  The blade on this desirable Kabar measures 7 1/16″.  This knife measures 12 1/8″ overall.  The knife is marked ‘KA-BAR   OLEAN, N.Y.’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘USN’.  

1 premium World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s sword available.  This WW2 gendai sword would make a rare addition to any collection.

The blade was made by the 2 Million Yen swordsmith Kanenobu.  This sword is desirable.  The blade has kanji on both sides–one side refers to the god of archery and war.  The other refers to a joining of Shinto and Buddhist theologies.  

Literally each side reads as follows:

Kasuga Daimyôjin (春日大明神): The numinous unit of the associated kami and buddhas/bodhisattvas of the Kasuga-Kôfukuji multiplex, Nara.

and

Hachiman Daibosatsu (八幡大菩薩): The god of archery and war incorporating both elements from shintô and Buddhism.

The blade measures 26 3/4″ (67.9 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine. 

This sword has a complex, wavy hamon.

1 premium World War II Japanese Samurai Army Officer’s sword available.  This WW2 gendai sword would make an important addition to any collection.

The blade was made by the 1 Million Yen swordsmith Hidehiro.  Hidehiro earned 1st Seat ranking at the 1941 Exhibition.  

The Rikugun Jumei Tosho star stamp is stamped above Hidehiro’s signature.  Interestingly, there are also two kanji on the mune/spine on the nakago.  

The blade measures 25 7/8″ (65.7 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  All fittings have matching assembly numbers–the seppa, tsuba, etc. are stamped ’27’.  

This sword has a complex hamon. 

1 very rare late War World War II Japanese NCO sword available.  This super rare late War NCO sword is in exceptional condition.  The condition of this sword is in the top 1% of late War Japanese NCO swords to be found.  This WW2 sword would make an important addition to any collection

Both the blade and the scabbard drag have the same simple arsenal mark.  The blade measures 26 1/4″ from tip to top of the habaki (habaki edge that touches the blade). 

1 vintage WW II Camillus Marine Raider stiletto fighting knife available.  This knife has absolutely none of the usual crazing/cracking of the guard and handle that is normally present on 90% of Raider stilettos.  This knife is an important part of American history, and would make a rare addition to any collection. 

This knife was carried by a member of Carlson’s Raiders.  See page 86 of Mike Silvey’s book Knives of the United States Military — World War II for a photo of the Raider stiletto. 

This Marine Raider stiletto measures 12 3/16″ overall.  The blade itself measures 7 1/8″.  The blade etch is still partially visible on the blade ‘U.S.M.C.‘, and ‘CAMILLUS CUTLERY  CAMILLUS N.Y.‘.  

The Raider whose knife this was added a cool Turkish knot to the handle–awesome. 

1 antique Cattaraugus model 22929 elephant toe knife available.  This knife still has its rare, original box!

This knife’s model number is stamped on the smaller blade.  The master blade measures 2 9/16″.  The second blade measures 1 9/16″.  

The Cattaraugus box has beautiful artwork.  The end of the box is marked in pencil with the model number ‘22929’.  Pocket knives were usually sold to hardware stores in boxes of 12, or in boxes of 1/2 dozen.  This knife is marked in pencil ‘1/12’ for ‘one’ knife. 
 

1 U.S. WW2 V-44 USMC fighting knife available.  This V-44 is in excellent condition.  This World War II V-44 would make an important addition to any collection. 

This V-44 was made by Collins.  The blade is stamped ‘COLLINS & CO.   LEGITIMUS   MADE IN U.S.A.   No. 18’.  This knife measures 14″ overall.  The blade itself measures 9 5/16″.  This knife has a brass guard, and bakelite handle.
