Description

1 WWII target drone propeller available.  This wood propeller would make an important addition to any U.S. World War 2 or world militaria collection.

This is the Koehler 44D-10908 propeller for a U.S. WW2 target drone.  It is made of laminated wood with red-tipped propeller ends.

This propeller measures 30″ in length.  The small size of this propellor makes it easy to display.  And for those aviation collectors, much easier to display than an airplane propeller.

The main U.S. WWII propeller-driven target drone was the Radioplane OQ-2. It became the first mass-produced military UAV in the United States, with roughly 15,000 built during the war.

Key features:

Small radio-controlled aircraft used for anti-aircraft gunnery practice
Propeller-driven piston engine
Contra-rotating (counter-rotating) propellers to reduce torque effects
Catapult launched
Parachute recovery system if not destroyed during training

CONDITION:

This WWII target drone propeller is in excellent condition.  See photos.
