This Richtig WW2 fighting knife has a 5″ blade. This Richtig fighter measures 9 1/8″ overall. The handle is stamped ‘HAND MADE BY F.J. RICHTIG CLARKSON NEB.’. The reverse side of the handle has the stamped image of Frank Richtig using his anvil.
The sheath bears the maker mark of ‘A.J. Williamson. Maker. Casper, WYO.’. A.J. Williamson was in business from 1920 to 1935. The vet who carried this knife, after the war, marked the year 1948 on the back of the sheath.
