Description
1 WWII Kabar USMC Mark 2 blued blade fighting knife available. This very early Kabar would make a rare addition to any collection.
This is an early Ka-Bar Mark 2 knife variation–in fact, according to the book U.S. and Allied Military Knives–World War 2 by Bill Walters, this is the very early 3rd Variation. This knife has the thin pommel, a thick red spacer and a thin black spacer next to the guard, and three thinner black spacers next to the pommel. The blade is blued.
The blade measures 7″. This knife measures 12″ overall.
The scabbard is marked just below the keeper strap ‘USMC BOYT 43‘.
CONDITION:
This WWII Kabar USMC mark 2 knife is in beautiful condition. The blade has 75-80% of its original bluing still. The handle is excellent. The blade has minor surface oxidation. The scabbard is in excellent condition.
