Description
1 vintage SOE clandestine knife available. We bought this knife from a 76-year old retired American operator. He was gifted it by a British SOE operator buddy. This knife would make an important addition to any collection.
Normally we would be concerned about the authenticity of purported clandestine knives since there are so many fakes. But, this retired American operator was the real deal. In fact, we have 3 Bauchop special operator knives we bought from him. He was the guy responsible for choosing ‘a certain unit’s‘ knives. He chose Bauchop after an exhaustive selection process.
This SOE clandestine knife measures 11″ overall. The four-sided blade measures 6 1/2″. The type of leather on the sheath is the common type that we’ve experienced from British and Australian knives. Note the textured surface.
CONDITION:
This vintage SOE clandestine knife is in excellent condition.
