Note the comparison photos. The tip of the sheath has the exact wrinkles in the leather as the knife in the book. Note too the notch on the right side of the guard. This knife was purchased by a collector directly from Mike Silvey.

CONDITION:
This Case V44 book knife is in mint condition. The knife is so sharp that the blade sliced into the side of the sheath–but this is exactly the condition of the sheath when it was photographed for the book.
