The long daito is housed in shirasaya.
The blade measures 28 13/16″/73.2 cm (as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki).

This antique 16th/17th Century Japanese Samurai sword is in excellent polish. There is one pit on one side of the blade above the shinogi line.
The two sides of the shirasaya are held together with tape. The tape can be removed and the two mirror sides of the shirasaya can be glued back together.
The hamon is perfectly healthy. The boshi is perfectly healthy as well.
