Description

1 antique Japanese Samurai uchine palanquin throwing arrow available.  This rare Samurai weapon would make an important addition to any collection.

A palanquin was a small coach for an important Samurai or family member that was carried by 4 or more individuals on their shoulders.  An uchine was one of the close quarters weapon choices for this individual.

The uchine could be thrown at an attacker allowing time for Samurai to draw their swords.  In addition, it can thrust at attackers.  This uchine also has an arrow nock, making this weapon also able to be used on a crossbow.

Measuring 20 1/4″ (51.4 cm).  The yanone measures 2 9/16″ (6.5 cm).  An extra bonus is the original saya.
