1 antique Japanese samurai arrow point available. This desirable boar’s eye/pierced Japanese yanone/arrowhead would make a fine addition to any collection.
The ancient 17th-18th century Japanese yajiri/arrowpoint would have been used by true Samurai. This arrowpoint measures 4 13/16″ (12.2 cm), including the tang. The point itself measures 1 1/2″ (3.8 cm) by 1 1/16″ wide (2.7 cm).
The tang/nakago is marked with a number ‘X114’. I have seen this very style of marking before. This point was either in a museum, or was in a known collection.
CONDITION:
This fine Japanese Samurai yanone is in excellent condition. There are no cracks/hagire. The blade has a wonderful old patina.
