1 Japanese WWII Army Officer’s sword available.  The blade was originally carried by Samurai in the 1500’s A.D.  The blade was remounted in rare Silvered Army mounts for carry in World War 2.  This antique Japanese sword would make an important acquisition for any collection. 

This sword has premium koshirae/mounts.  The mounts would have been expensive the Officer who purchased them.  This sword’s mounts are quite rare.  In all my years dealing in Japanese military swords, I have only owned 6 or 7 swords with these desirable blue/Silver mounts.  The handle wrap is always blue on this type of koshirae.  The fittings have a Silver wash.  

The unsigned blade measures 21 1/2″ (55 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  

The kashira/kabutogane fitting has a Silver Samurai family mon.  The tsuba is the more desired pierced variation.  The saya is wood with a lacquered finish.  

The blade is from the 1500’s A.D.  The hamon is jagged with ashi that jump all the way up to the shinoji line in places.

The blade has horimono carving.  One side of the blade has two bohi grooves, and one bonji horimono.  The other side of the blade has bonji, and a stylized dragon with flames.  

The signed blade measures 21 11/16″ (56 cm) from blade tip to notch in the blade spine.  

The saya has a leather combat cover.  The leather snap is still intact and functional–most on World War 2 swords have broken after 77+ years since the War.  

The Koto blade is from the 1500’s A.D.  The hamon is wavy and complex–very attractive.  

1 mint condition blade-marked Imperial World War II M3 trench knife w/M8 scabbard available.  This U.S. M3 fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The M3 trench knife is blade-marked ‘US M3  IMPERIAL’.  The M8 scabbard is stamped ‘U.S. M8  B.M.CO.’.

The knife’s blade measures 6 13/16″.  This knife measures 11 11/16″ overall.  The pommel is peened, and has the flaming bomb stamp.

1 earliest version World War 2 Robeson U.S.N. Mark 2 fighting knife.  This early War Robeson Mark 2 combat knife would make a rare addition to any collection.

This Mark 2 variation has a thick red spacer next to the guard.  The blade is parkerized.  

The blade on this desirable Mark 2 measures 7″.  The knife is marked ‘ROBESON SHUREDGE’ on the front tang.  The reverse tang is stamped ‘U.S.N.’. 

The sheath is stamped ‘BOYT -43-    U.S.N.’.

1 1989 Cutlery Shoppe Edition Gerber Mark II fighting knife.  This Gerber fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

This Gerber is serial number ‘CS0008’–an early serial #.  

One of the most rare Japanese military swords of World War 2–the Manchurian mounts Mantetsu.  These mounts–as well as the blade–were made in Manchuria.  Some of these Manchuria mount Mantetsu also have a rail stamp or a Manchurian Railway Co. stamp. Have one in your collection yet?  This is your chance–these don’t come along often.   When considering this rare mount sword, think ‘bragging rights’, think ‘I finally found one’, think about telling your friends about it ‘do you have one? …pity, (I do).’

1 Anderson WW2 fighting knife.  This Anderson fighting knife would make a rare acquisition for any collection.  
 

Anderson made fighting knives for World War 2 using blades cut from Patton swords.  This knife was made with the base section of the Patton sword.  The front ricasso is stamped ‘L.F.&C.  1919’ (the ‘L.F. is not visible).  There was no sheath with this knife when I got it.  
 

The handle is marked ‘ANDERSON  GLENDALE, CALIFORNIA’.  The reverse side is marked ‘MADE IN USA’.

The snap on the sheath keeper strap is correct marked NEWEY.

This bolo is marked with the flaming bomb and ‘S A 1917’ on the front ricasso.  The reverse is marked ‘US 37090’.  

The mint scabbard is marked ‘BRAUER BROS. 1917’ and ‘DH’.
