Description

1 Pacific Theater and Vet ID’d US WWII military Cattaraugus 225Q fighting knife. This knife is ID’d–making the WW2 veteran’s service record fully researchable. This U.S. military knife would make an important addition to any collection.

 

The sheath has the veteran’s name ‘Albert E. Harper‘, and sergeant’s stripes on its front.  Also the knife handle has his initials ‘AEH‘.

 

This knife measures 10 1/2″ overall. The blade itself measures 6″. The blade tang is stamped ‘Cattaraugus 225Q’.

 

The 225Q blade was designed extra thick for prying open shipping crates during the War. The pommel on the 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife has a hammer head for pounding the crate lids back down again.
