The blade was made from a cut-down Civil War sword blade.  The blade ricasso is stamped 'F.P' with the image of a rabbit.  

This large knife measures 12 11/16” overall.  The blade itself measures 8”.  

This WW2 San Antonio Iron Works knife is in as close to mint condition as it gets.
