This Australian fighting knife was made in Melbourne, Australia during the War. The blade is engraved 'Evans & Balfour Melbourne'.
This knife measures 9 5/8" overall. The blade itself measures 5 1/2". The sheath has the Aussie commando's initials carved into its front.
The blade on this knife is super thick--it measures over 1/4". The blade is blued.
This WW II Australian Evans & Balfour fighting knife is in exceptional condition. There is one little, hardly mentionable chip at the very end of the micarta handle.
