This signed sword was made by Yoshitsugu. There is a Seki stamp on the nakago. Yoshitsugu was a ranked swordsmith--he earned the 1 Million Yen skill designation.
The blade has a beautiful peaked hamon. The blade measures 25 3/4" (as measured properly with a tape pulled tight from the blade tip to the bottom of the notch in the habaki).
This sword is in as close to mint condition as it gets! The mounts are, well, almost perfect! The saya lacquer 99%+. The blade is in a beautiful state of polish. An occasional small scratch can be found on the blade.
