1 U.S. World War 2 Western L77 Stiletto fighting knife.  This desirable U.S. fighting knife would make an important addition to any collection.

The knife's blade tang is stamped 'WESTERN  BOULDER, COLO.  PAT.NO.1,967,479'.  This knife measures 11 1/4" overall.  The blade itself measures 6 15/16" to the guard.  The pommel is aluminum, and the guard is brass.

Note the G.I. or Marine that carried this knife stitched a pouch with sharpening stone on the back of the scabbard.  The stone has a hollowed oval with 'NORTON' marked in raised letters.  Check out the photos for a closer look at this cool field  adaption.

This knife is in excellent, carried condition.  The blade edge was kept sharp.  There are no edge nicks.  The knife handle is in perfect condition.  The brass guard is cool--don't see too many of those.  The sheath is in nice condition with occasional stitches worn--the rivets keep the blade safely protected in the sheath even without the stitching.
