1 vintage U.S. World War II Shipley knuckle knife.  An iconic Shipley knuckle knife like this one was chosen by author Mike Silvey to adorn the back cover of his book, Knives of the United States Military--World War II.  This rare knife would make a fine addition to any collection. 

This Shipley knuckle knife is marked on the scabbard 'C.P. SHIPLEY,  KANSAS CITY.'. 

This WWII fighting knife has a brass knuckle guard and metal skull crusher pommel.  The upswept blade is especially long on this example measuring 7 7/16" in length.  Overall this knife measures 12 5/8".

This exceptionally rare WW2 Shipley knuckle knife is in beautiful condition.  This knife was carried in action during World War 2.  There is one small nick in one blade edge.  The scabbard is a little rough, but more importantly, it is original and is still with the knife.
