1 rare U.S. World War II aluminum handle Kennedy Arms/Moore fighting knife available. I have been listing a number of different variations of Kennedy Arms fighting knives--and this is yet another version. This knife differs from the other in that it is a 6" blade version. A Kennedy Arms knife would make a rare addition to any premium collection.
The blade on this fine combat knife measures 5 5/8" long. This knife measures 10 1/16" overall. The handle is marked 'MOORE MPLS'. The original sheath is stamped 'KENNEDY BROS. ARMS CO. ST. PAUL'.
Moore made these knives for Kennedy Bros. Arms. I spoke with Moore's son a while back. His dad would give him an order of completed knives to deliver from Moore's shop in Minneapolis to Kennedy Arms in St. Paul. He would take the street car to get them there.
This knife is ID'd on the handle with the vet's name 'D.E.W.'.
This WW II Kennedy Arms fighting knife is in excellent condition. The blade has no nicks, and is in excellent condition. The handle is in excellent condition as well with some darkening from age on one side of the handle. The scabbard is also in excellent condition.
This rare Kennedy Arms combat knife deserves a home in a premium collection.
