1 rare U.S. World War II aluminum handle Barteaux Commando fighting knife.  Interestingly, the 'COMMANDO' and 'USA' handle markings on this knife are legible, but not clear.  It doesn't appear to just be from wear--it's almost like Barteaux decided to remove the markings from his handle die, and only mostly removed the markings from it. 

This knife measures 11" overall.  The knife blade itself measures 6 1/2"--which is long for a Barteaux.  

This WW II Barteaux knife and sheath are in excellent condition.  The blade has some occasional cosmetic peppering--most of what is visible though is the expected carbon finish patina.  The handle is in excellent condition.  The scabbard is in perfect condition.
