This Vietnam fighting knife measures 13 5/16" overall.  The blade itself measures 8".  The front blade tang is stamped 'WESTERN   BOULDER, COLO. U.S.A.'.  The reverse tang is stamped 'L46-8'. 

This vintage Vietnam Western L46-8 private purchase fighting knife is in nearly perfect condition.  The blade has its original, unused factory perfect edge.  The blade has only very occasional carbon patina.  The handle is perfect.  The scabbard has only an occasional surface mark.
