This vintage Randall measures 12 5/16" overall. The blade itself measures 7 1/2". The blade is stamped 'RANDALL MADE ORLANDO, FLA.'. The brass guard has two holes. The brass pommel has the optional compass mounted in it.
The scabbard is stamped 'RANDALL MADE KNIVES ORLANDO, FLA.'.
This Vietnam Randall model 18 fighting knife was carried, but looks to have never been used to cut anything. The blade edge is perfect. The scabbard's keeper strap and leather leg tie-down tab have wrinkles in the leather showing that this knife was carried.
