1 ID'd U.S. World War 2 Pacific Theater Cattaraugus 225Q knife with original Duty Pass, dog tags, medal, and scabbard inscription. This Pacific Theater knife grouping would make an important addition to any collection.
This knife was owned by Pfc. Charles J. Jones. His serial number is noted on his original duty pass. Pfc. Jones wrote on the scabbard 'GIVEN TO ME BY A FRIEND OCTOBER 7, 1944 AT HOLLANDIA, NEW GUINEA'.
Pfc. Jones' original dog tags and his Good Conduct Medal are included in this grouping.
Also included is an original letter authorizing Pfc. Jones to wear the Good Conduct Medal.
The knife has scattered surface corrosion, but it's only minor. This hasn't been cleaned up--if the buyer chooses to polish it a little by hand, it will clean up nicely. The blade has its original factory edge!
