1 rare WW2 Japanese Army Officer's gendai sword available.  This is a fine sword with a super cool signature.  The art name the swordsmith chose for himself has a double-meaning--the first character is Kazu (or ichi for first or best).  The second character is actually two characters combined into one--the characters for 'Samurai' and 'sword'--thus "Best Samurai Sword".  This premium handmade WW II Japanese katana would make an important addition to any collection.

This sword is for the blade only.  There is no habaki.  Above the signature is the star stamp.  The reverse side of the nakago is dated.  

This fine sword measures 24 9/16" (62.4 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine).  Nie are present in the entire hamon. 

This fine handmade WW2 star stamp Gendai sword is in excellent polish.  The blade has barely a mentionable nick, and what is there is so very tiny--they are nail catcher-type flea bite nicks only.  

The temper line and boshi are perfectly healthy.  This sword is guaranteed against fatal flaws.
