1 vintage WW2 Japanese Officer's katana in shirasaya. This WW2 Officer's sword would make a fine addition to any collection.
This sword is signed. The swordsmith is Michihiro. There is a showa stamp above the signature. The blade measures 26 7/16" (67.2 cm) (measured properly from the blade tip to the notch in the blade spine). This katana has a wavy hamon/temper line.
This sword is in excellent condition. The sword fits perfectly in the saya. The blade has an ever so slight bend. I didn't even notice it until just now when I sighted down the blade--so it's not noticeable and is so very slight. There are no nicks in the blade edge. The blade has surface micro-scratches. The wood saya is in good condition with one little chip at the wood habaki.
The temper line and boshi are perfectly healthy. This sword is guaranteed against fatal flaws.
