1 vintage U.S. World War 2 Case V-42 stiletto.  This V-42 is a mint example for only the most advanced collector.  

 

This Case V-42 has no sheath.  Buy this knife, and locate a sheath for it--once you do that you will have one of the top condition V-42's in the world.  

 

This knife is ID'd on the reverse ricasso.  This knife is inscribed "C. Wetsell/805-89-07/U.S.N.".  Wetsell was Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Charles L. Wetsell of the U.S.S. General J.R. Brooke, a Navy transport involved with transporting soldiers and marines across both the Atlantic and Pacific.  The Brooke may have transported the 1st SSF to Italy. 


This knife is in mint condition.  The bluing is perfect.
